hilarious, never serious, little bit of everything, very entertaining. most stephen chow films aren't trying to be a cinematic achievement by any means. they try to be entertainment and this one does the job.

It's been quite sometime since I last saw this movie. And it is really funny and fill with LOL jokes and gags. Stephen Chow is a small time con man and is quite a loser. His girlfriend Sandra Ng ditch him to marry another guy. He went to stop her but ended up stopping the wrong couple. Karl Maka is his teacher and he tell him to succeed he must learn to be heartless and ruthless. While pretending to be blind to hail a taxi, Stephen got wallop. Teresa Mo drive by to give him a ride. But she is also a con artist, a very lousy one and heavily in debt. Her act were easily expose by Stephen. Then Yuen Wah came to chase her for the money. Stephen act as a blind warrior to save her but got expose and brought back to meet the boss Roy Cheung. Wu Ma is another con artist who owe Roy money. He ask him to steal antiques from a big house. Wu Ma hears the phone recording a rich guy will be coming over for a business deal. Wu Man have the idea to act as the uncle to welcome this guy and to cheat him for money. He get Tien Niu to be his wife and Amy Yip to be his daughter. Amy is to seduce Stephen for the plan to work. Both sides plan to photographed them on bed and use it for ransom. Tien Niu went to get magic potion for Stephen to drink. Both parties have pictures that only reveal their own partner. Stephen drank the potion and off course nothing happen. Then all reveal they are fake. Stephen decides to continue this ploy in order to clear the debts and also earn some for themselves. Roy came over to meet the guy and Stephen quickly change the plan and make Amy as the guy "Jacky". Roy wants to pocket the deal himself and push Stephen to be "Jacky" to seal the deal with the orphanage head for the land. Karl and his 4 wives plan the whole thing on the big day. He pretend to be the head. Teresa bump to Yuen Wah and thinking the plot got expose, shouts it out. Yuen did the same. Stephen got the money and escapes. They manage to beat up Roy. Yuen saw a guy in pig mask beating him, went in and ask where is the guy. They had put on the mask on Roy and Yuen beat him up real bad. The con artists got their reward of 1 million dollars in the end.

Not one of the finest Stephen Chow movies, but fun with some classic touches (such as the absurd bag brought along for the robbery).

Typical Stephen Chow film, but a good one at that. Very funny, over the top, and silly.

It is always nice to see Roy Cheung pop up in a Stephen Chow film as well.

I enjoyed it fully, but it was very typical of a Hong Kong comedy, so it wasn't anything astounding. Highly enjoyable, though.

One of the most cheerful movies by Stephen Chow, where non-sense and non-stop laughing through watching the whole movie.

Has its moments, but not one of Stephen Chow's better efforts. Amy Yip is worth seeing though...
