The star rating reflects the MST3K viewing, not the original product, because let's not kid ourselves, right

Rental.

Does this even count as a film? It just literally pointless video clips mashed together, and it's only an hour long like the la chatte et le sexe movie.

It only gets this high of a rating because of the amazing MST3K treatment that this film got... Otherwise, I would have rated it MUCH lower (even if I can't go much lower)

"Manos Hands of Fate" looks like it was made by a non professional film maker. Despite this, it was very enjoyable to watch and it had some great unintentional comedy.

If you know what a bad movie is, you HAVE to see this! Otherwise, you don't know

Quite deservedly one of the worst movies ever.

No stars. Sure, it spawned a classic episode of one of TV's greatest shows, but man oh man is this an unpleasant, irritating, pathetic, and overall STUPID piece of work. It is the worst film ever made. Sorry Ed Wood, but a fertilizer salesman from El Paso is the one who made the textbook example of "bad movie" and "what NOT to do if you want to make a film for human beings." Enter at your own risk.

Never in my life have I seen something that's so freaking bad like Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Terrible acting, awful editing where you'll clearly see the actors keep looking at the camera waiting for "cut" and sh*tty directing. Overall Manos: The Hands of Fate deserves the title of "Worst movie ever made", because it truly is the worse.

Manos: The Hands of Fate is quite possibly, and I can say this with simple and pure honesty, one of the most egregiously bad films ever made. However, it isn't the worst. There are far worse movies. This actually has a coherent plot with a beginning, middle, and ending to it, a twist ending at that.

The only reason to watch this movie, is to make another suffer. Even if that other person is yourself. Attempting to analyze this movie is pointless. It can't even be laughed at it's so bad. After you see it, you realize how stupid it was, then you'll make fun of it.

You LITERALLY can't watch this crap fest without the MST3K crew's mocking commentary. Seriously, it takes awful to new depths! If Hell existed this would be playing 24/7. 0 out'ta 10 stars.

It's awful, plain and simple.
And yet, I find it impossible to look away from. It's become a new favorite of mine.
Yucca Flats was much, much worse.

Probably the worst movie ever made, definitely in the top three. Everything about it is a complete failure. Acting(nonexistent) writing, directing, camera work, it all sucks on a huge level. Nothing works and the whole film is broken. Pure garbage. On the plus side it's absolutely hilarious.

A fun watch with friends and drinks.

Not quite as bad as the legend says but still very bad. I love it.

So much hate for this fascinating film. Torgo died too young!

Worst film ever made.

Only watch with MST3K at your assistance.

One of the worst movies ever. No opening credits save the title, unintelligible, muffled dialogue due to poor sound, and dear God, this movie is boring. What good is a cult with only a handful of people in the middle of nowhere? What's with the two lovers that never actually do anything? What happened to Torgo?

Don't be confused by my rating: The writing is awful, the plot never really gets going and the film print itself is nearly burnt to a crisp. But for whatever reason, it almost works. The fact that the film was shot on a cheap home movie camera circa 1966 gives the film a creepy home movie vibe, especially when combined with the fact nothing happens within the first five minutes, it almost makes you feel like you're watching a real life home movie that went horribly array. The guy that plays Torgo is also excellent. Allegedly he was high on LSD throughout the entire thing and his shaking and lurching adds to the atmosphere. Once the Master comes into the picture it's all over though. Manos is a film that succeeds where it does purely by accident but ultimately is brought down by a boring script.
