Mantrap (1926)

Movie Info

Having married an older fellow and moved to his faraway mountain home, a sexually rambunctious young lady can't help but give in to her attraction to a vacationing attorney. Clara Bow's usual flapper persona transferred to rural environs bubbles all the same in this silent melodrama.

Audience Reviews for Mantrap

Clara Bow is a delightful presence on screen even when her character is frustrating, infuriating, and self-centered. The rest of the cast supports her well enough, but no one competes with her luminous presence. The story was not exactly what I anticipated from the title. A refreshing, lesser known silent comedy.
