The best you can offer Masterplan is faint praise: it could breeze by as company to your Sunday night takeout even if you will struggle to remember it a week later. Go to Full Review

This won’t go down as one of Tucci’s finest films, but it’s a fun way to pass a cold October night when you’re looking for a horror or Hallmark romance alternative. Go to Full Review

Masterplan knows it’s ridiculous, which helps with its watchability if not exactly its quality. Go to Full Review

The story could conceivably go on forever as long as it keeps tacking on “clever” little twists, but lord help us, this movie already gives us enough for three movies. Three bad movies. Go to Full Review

The craftsmanship of the film is slick, the locations striking, and the acting skillful, so the only explanation is that it's already essentially been done before. Go to Full Review

Beyond a few clever twists and some lovely exotic locales, it’s a familiar tale of dishonor among thieves that’s hardly masterful. Go to Full Review

Davy V @RT41046345 9 hrs ago When you what a heist movie you are expecting a certain level of un-realism. But this is insane. The hacking is some of the most ridiculous I have ever seen. The Heist itself quickly moves from implausible to absolutely impossible. And without giving spoilers, the way they "extract" their price is so stupid I actually felt insulted. To make it even worst, the Plot "twist" is so obvious you can't even call it a twist. By the end I was almost convinced that I was looking at a plot written for a cartoon. See more FunkagendaLIVE T @RT57685398 16 hrs ago It’s essentially “The Kingsmen” but instead of a secret agency, it’s Stanley Tucci (who I love by the way) doing his very best Colin Firth. Standard heist movie and a very enjoyable watch but nothing to talk about. You got a weekly movie night with missus? Watch it. It fulfils your obligation and is entertaining. See more Gail H @RT02832092 23 hrs ago As soon as I saw the support actors I knew and drum roll I was right ! A total waste of 147 minutes. Background music horrendous not even Stanley Tucci could save this movie. See more Allan K @RT66717814 1 day ago At 147 minutes, this is 2 hrs 27 minutes too long. No pancake was flatter than this script, and not even good actors - which they all are - can drag a morsel of dramedy out of it. For more excitement, stare at a wall for a couple of hours while you eat your popcorn. See more Jem C @RT46700517 1 day ago Another Netflix streaming movie giving, we the audience, no credit for any level of intelligence. Constantly dumbing down: Adults in spandex pretending they are super heroes. Yet another child goes misssing to a villain with a husky voice while a haggard detective and "ROOKIE" partner solves the case. And now this schlocky version of a caper, See more Paul C @RT96176980 2 days ago This is truly dreadful. The characters are so completely unlikable that you would want them to be caught at the beginning to put us out of our misery. The plot is nonsense. At the beginning one character sabotages the others first scouting trip - why ? Oh yes because they are idiots. I love Stanley Tucci but I hope he was well paid as I don't think there was any other reason for him to do it. I have to say that his accent was also very annoying. I did have to give up half way through. Something I think I've only done once before watching a film. Avoid at all cost. See more Read all reviews
