An old-fashioned approach to the Staples story.

"Mavis!" is maybe too short and too plain, but it covers a lot of ground and contains a lot of great music. It's a fitting tribute to a true American original, belatedly getting her due.

Audience Reviews for Mavis!

A wonderful look at a very charming lady who was at the forefront of the civil rights movement throughout the 60s with her family. It is inspiring to see her still performing to this day and remaining an influence on those that have come after her.
