Audience Reviews for Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring

Wonderful movie about a girl named Dennie (Sally Field) who lives with a bunch of hippies for a year and then returns home to her conservative parents. But her little sister, Susan, wants to follow in her footsteps and feel the freedoms her sister felt. Ultimately, this movie was great at giving the audience little glimpses into her hippie lifestyle by jumping back and forth through scenes. Sally Field did a good job playing her character and made it all pretty believable. This was definitely an enjoyable and worthwhile movie. Even though there's not all these different things going on, it still makes for an interesting look inside a family that doesn't quite see eye-to-eye.

What makes this movie work is it's believable, and Sally Field is very convincing. When it was made it really hit the mark. Wonderful performances, poignant, perceptive direction and very well written.
