A formulaic and uninspired sequel, Mean Girls 2 is as vapid and shallow as the girls it tries to mock. After transferring to a new school, Jo Mitchell finds herself caught up in an ongoing rivalry between two rich girls when she refuses to bend to the demands of the leader of the Plastics; an elite high school clique. Meaghan Jette Martin, Maiara Walsh, and Claire Holt lead the cast and give fairly decent performances, but the rest of the cast is garbage. And the writing is also rather poor, relying on bad cliches and cheesy dialog. Mean Girls 2 isn't a terrible film, but it's not trying to be a good film either...and the laziness shows.

This.Is.Just.Total. Money.Grabbing.Garbage. They are not even just mean, they are plain vile. I did not laugh at all, I cringed for 90 minutes, that's how bad it was.

I'm questing why I even bothered watching in the first place. It's low level, unoriginal, stupid 'entertainment' which doesn't come close to the original. The 'jokes' are heavily scripted and aren't performed well at all, making it tedious to watch. Stay away.

Same all high school crap with different new faces. Making this sequel was quite unnecessary in the first place.
