Movie Info

The horror film Megalodon begins as a large corporation begins using a powerful drill in order to look for oil in Greenland. The company disregards the warnings of scientists who claim that the drill may disrupt the natural order of the environment. The drill eventually goes so deep that a new ocean is discovered. In that ocean is a deadly ancestor of the white shark, Carcharodon Megalodon. The creature weighs more than twenty-thousand pounds and begins working its way toward the crew that worked the drill.

Audience Reviews for Megalodon

Thin, slow moving plot with dull characters and little resolution. The big shark doesn't appear until the final 30 minutes, and it's pretty underwhelming. Poor effects, no excitement, and nothing worth seeing twice.

They tried to remake The Abyss and Alien on a 2 million dollar budget. Disappointment and boredom ensue.

When the movie ended I was like,"that was the movie".The shark appered only about 25 minutes in the movie. It's not the worst shark movie in the world.Jaws the revenge is worse than this.Overall this is slow, boring, and a bad movie.
