This is Tomas Milian's show all the way. Henry Silva is great as usual, but Milian's over-the-top criminal madman steals the entire show.

Tomas Milian is nicely sleazy as a small time hood who wants to hit the bi-time by kidnapping the daughter of a rich man and holding her for ransom. Well worth a rental for fans of Euro-crime and the like.

Karu leffa! Tomas Milianin esittämä Julio Sacchi on rikollisen aineksen pohjasakkaa.

It may be the greatest "poliziottesco" ever, with an amazing and disturbing Tomas Milian (as Giulio, a vicious criminal who kidnaps the daughter of a rich man). Crime, fun and a marvelous depiction of Milan's criminality. A cult classic of the 70s.

Very enjoyable Dirty Harry type cop thriller, only from the perspective from the crooks. Tomas Milan is an absolute nut job and the film benefits from this. Silva is quite under-stated and left very much in the back ground. This is defo one of Lenzi's better flicks. Recommend.

Umberto Lenzi's crime dramha that is surely action packed with enough car chases and elemetns that mix into mystery... Still i love it! BTW the acting may be the only flaw :(

Fantastic character-driven piece centered on Milian's toxic performance. Silva may just be doing a walk-through, but his stoicism fits perfectly. Strindberg and Lovelock have more interaction, proving that Sacchi's villainy is more profoundly subhuman than even his mocking revisitation of his own crime scene suggests. In the supplemental material of the No Shame dvd release, Lenzi mentions the influence of French Noir, Le Trou, and Pacino's popular image at the time. Also, Milian's daily regimen of pills and vodka - and the real life friendship between himself and Lovelock. All interesting to consider when viewing, but otherwise recommended for after the feature.
