I don't think a single moment of this movie made any sense. Its also poorly edited and just about everyone (including even Jeff Bridges) is unconvincing in their perspective roles.

clever, original, not generally sappy like every other dull romance. really becoming a fan of barbra streisand and i think the stuff she stars in is also better when she's at the helm directing. what a character!!!

"The Mirror Has Two Faces is a 1996 American romantic dramedy film produced and directed by Barbra Streisand, who also stars. The screenplay by Richard LaGravenese is based on the 1958 French film Le Miroir à Deux Faces written by André Cayatte and Gérard Oury, which focused on a homely woman who becomes a beauty, which creates problems in her marriage." The cast is populated with good actors but Streisand is by far the best, doing an excellent job of mixing wry humor, pathos, and longing. Pleasant film with an interesting premise managed to keep me entertained through all of its lengthy runtime, (2 hours) with some funny lines, original points of view on relationships, and a simple but applicable musical score

A solid romantic comedy that gets a lttle eh in the middle but is pretty charming and actually has a really strong cast as well as a clever script.
