I guess the movie is content to be cheerfully cheesy junk, so don't expect it to be otherwise.

With so much cheese--not to mention blood and boobs--the film could have at least been a camp hoot.

Wagner brings a welcome sense of tongue-in-cheek abandon to her role in a film that otherwise plays it pretty close to run-of-the-mill blood-and-slaughter-for-fun flicks.

Audience Reviews for Modern Vampires

So, there were A LOT of people that I recognized in this movie, and I'm not going to lie, I'm a little surprised that they were in this at all. I was a little excited that there were some Oingo Bongo/Elfman sounding music in the background. But with basically every other word being the fbomb it really couldn't hold my interest.

This is one of the ones you think will suck and ends up being pretty good. I think I liked it more because of the such low expectations I had for it.

You've got to see this one! "Modern Vampires" is a delightful horror-comedy. TV's Craig Ferguson is one of the vamps - priceless! I thoroughly enjoyed Casper Van Dien's performance as Dallas; he fit the film well. Like any quality vampire movie, this one offers a respectable amount of blood and nudity. Yeah! Overall, a laid-back, fun movie chock full of laughs!
