It was kind of Loves Labour's Lost meets Dead Poets meets Footloose, and then it went somewhere I've never really seen a movie go and it kind of made it worth the 3:36 runtime, but really this movie did not have to be over three hours. I really, really liked it though.
There is something about Bollywood movies that even though you know they are overly emotional you get caught up in them. Better have your box of tissues near you for this one :-) It's an awesome movie about love about a battle of wills between the old and the new generation about loss and so much more. The cinematography and sets are superb the song and dance numbers colourful fun and catchy plus on top of that this movie is full of top top Bollywood stars. Amitabh Bachchan the near god of Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan nick named King Khan and pretty much Amitabh's successor as near god the next generation and then an even newer upcoming generation with such young stars as Uday Chopra. From decades of erotic sexuality there is even an appearance by Helen who shows she can still dance up a storm as Miss Monica. A whose who of Bollywood in an epic Bollywood film What more could you want. Just make sure you have your box of tissues and a bowl full of popcorn :-)
Mohabbatein surprised me by featuring an enriching and captivating story, along with great performances by SRK and Amitabh Bachchan.
many different stories about first love...
It's a cool watchable bolly flick, well written dialogues and acting was great.
it was a great movie... there was no real action, but it still had a good plot that more than made up for that. also it had some pretty awesome songs :D
An inspirational and well-developed story portrayed well by the actors/actresses in the film...
This is a classic masterpiece featuring Bollywood legends Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwaria Rai, and Amitabh Bachan. The epitome of love stories, it is a timeless classic highlighting the development of three love stories in a setting where love was thought to be impossible. Some love stories are indeed forever, and this is one of them. Three hours of laughter, sadness, and wonder at the true power of love.
Huge casting, a few of the top actors in B-town come together in this movie. It a very emotional + fun movie. Completely about love
terror vs love = 3-4 love is the winner!
very clever movie . I liked Raj's wording against his 'enemy' father in law
