Movie Info

Aspiring actress Molly Barry (Gracie Fields) needs a job, and grumpy retired politician John Graham (Monty Woolley) -- having divorced his wife and shunned his son, Jimmy (Roddy McDowall) -- needs a housekeeper. When Molly takes the position, she begins to realize the extent of the wealthy Graham's unpleasantness. Moly befriends the butler, Peabody (Reginald Gardiner), also an out-of-work actor, and slowly brings Graham out of his shell, teaching him manners while reuniting him with his son.
