It’s a perfect kids movie but as a ‘fantasy’ geek well into my adulthood I enjoyed it as well. She was so excited the entire movie pointing everything out and totally into it no distractions. This is a family movie idk what’s up with the reviews?? It cute, funny, and makes you teary eyed. My daughter was shouting at the movie telling them to leave the creatures alone. They did an amazing job, I fell in love with immediately. Even the performances of Till and Lowe, while competent, cannot salvage the lackluster material. The movie struggles to maintain interest, and its attempts at fun feel forced rather than natural. Overall, Monster Truck is a disappointing theatrical outing, lacking the charm, creativity, or entertainment value that could have made it a genuinely enjoyable family film. I saw this movie in theater with my family, my little brothers were really into trucks at the time and my mom thought they'd like it, they were a bit young for it but I remember not wanting to go and being shocked how much I loved it.
