I watch this movie every time it comes on plus, I bought the DVD. It is very entertaining, particularly on a rainy day. I love the sunny California scenery.

So hilarious, refreshing and entertaining performances by Jane Fonda, J-Lo and Wanda Sykes!

I saw this one years ago, and I remember being mostly unimpressed...

But what always got me was the nut allergy scene. Nut allergies are among the deadliest in the world, and commonly cause what is called "anaphylaxis," which can lead to death or coma.

This guy's mom could have gotten his fiance killed, and if she had died, that would have been fucking murder right there. HAHAHA ATTEMPTED MURDER, EVERYONE!

I have watched this cult classic so many times. I love it!

J-Lo, artsy and aimless with her sundress over pants (#RespectTo90sFashion), falls into Michael Vartan's Michael Vartanian gaze and must contend with her new ridiculously heinous mother-in-law. So bland, and insultingly unfunny. Bright spot was seeing Adam Scott in an early film role as the gay best friend, styled like a Y2K ninth grader with an oversized polo shirt and shaggy hair.

This movie is Hilarious! A must-see but anything starring J-Lo is great!

Pretty good as far as chick flicks go. Jane Fonda and Wanda Sykes are a hoot.

The chemistry between the three is really good. Love Jennifer and Jane and there antics.

I loved this movie. Jennifer was so funny. Loved the whole putting the pills in Jane's food.

Perfect popular entertainment, funny and sweet.

Jane Fonda, Wanda Sykes and ELAINE STRITCH (Adam Scott?) are all too good for this yet steal every scene you could possibly imagine.

How frustrating it is that Jane Fonda would pick Monster-in-Law as her first movie after being on hiatus. This is a dumb, unfunny, unoriginal turkey. It's like one of those sitcoms that only lasted 3 episodes before being taken off the network. Michael Vartan is particularly terrible.

J-Lo often gets a bad wrap for her acting - and true, she's not the greatest actor in the world - but occasionally I do find her charming.

It seemed as though the rest of the cast carried an over-acting, weathered Jane Fonda through the plot - which worked in the end, had some funny moments. Fonda's melodramatic performance was cringe worthy though at times.

Not a bad film.

What a terrific lame plot...

Jane Fonda came out of retirement for this? It plays like a bland, toothless sitcom. On the bright side, nothing in it makes you wince. It's way too boring for that.

This is pretty much paint by number routine romantic comedy that showcases a particularly bad performance by Jennifer Lopez. The only thing worthwhile seeing in here are fine architectural landmarks of LA, such as the Neff and Ross houses in Pasadena.

Much Funnier than all these Sanctimonious yuppies would say!!

Tellement film de filles qu'il m'arrivait de giggler comme une ptite fille avec ces merveilleuses répliques. Bref, un bon petit film de cerveau à off.
