Curtis will send chills down your spine...she's that ice-cold!

Audience Reviews for Mother's Boys

While definitely a twisted movie, and Jamie Lee Curtis did an excellent job as the villain, it went into territory that it didn't need to go in to.

Jamie Lee Curtis plays Jude (an unbalanced mom) who leaves her husband Robert (Peter Gallagher) and three children without an explanation. Three years later she returns thinking she can pick up where they left off but finds instead that Robert is petitioning her for a divorce and marrying Callie (Joanne Whalley). She finds an ally in her eldest son named Kes who is not happy at his parents getting divorced so she manipulates him into getting rid of Callie. If you want to know the full gory details you will have to watch the film yourself. Jamie Lee did a good job of playing the whacked out psycho mother using her children as leverage to get the father back and Vanessa Redgrave was also good in her few scenes as Jude's mother.

Not really good. There have been movies out there who do the same thing but a lot better. It was really slow to get going and then the end just came and went. Nothing original about this one. Even the usually good Curtis felt out of place here.
