Audience Reviews for Mr. Mom

Michael Keaton stars as Mr. Mom in this wacky family comedy. After getting laid off Jack Butler is forced to become a stay-at-home dad when his wife is able to find a job and he isn't. Teri Garr and Martin Mull co-star and give nice performances, but this is really Keaton's show and he delivers; bringing a lot of charisma and personality to the film. However, the writing is rather weak and relies too much on bumbling parent clichés and tropes. Additionally, the subplot about the wife's new job is poorly served and is awkwardly shoehorned into the film. But despite its problems, Mr. Mom is an entertaining romp with some good laughs.

Just saw this movie the other day after not seeing it since I was a little rugrat. It use to be 1 of my favorites but now It remind's me more of a Sunday comic strip coming to life with the out of control vacuum cleaner, washer & some of the characters.Oh well
