Audience Reviews for Munchies

I was flipping through looking for a movie to watch, Came across this & saw it had Harvey Korman in it so I thought why not? I didn't realize it at 1st but when I was a kid I remember Munchies being 1 of my favorite movies (I use to LOVE Munchies) The kids in school were all talking about it & everything.Watching it recently I can't understand what made me like it so much.I understand why kids today might like it so I guess I see what made me like it at the time.Munchies is a SUPER cheesy movie. If you're a little kid you might enjoy it or if you're somebody that has kids, You might not enjoy it but they probably will

One of the worst "80's tiny monsters" films, worse than Hobgobblins; only Troll 2 is worse. A tiny terror alien is found in Machu Piccu and brought back to the US by a ufologist. Some it runs amok thank you to the "scientist's" inept son. The alien multiplies and develops a taste for violence, booze and the ladies. A lot of comedic elements, some intentional, others not. Ghost Busters, Gremlins, and Chained Heat, references are a bonus.

Munchies can't make up it's mind on whether it wants to be a childish rip-off of Gremlins and Critters like its unfaithful comedic sequel, or if it would rather be a kiddish horror sci-fi fantasy adventure that follows in the footsteps of Laserblast.
