See more 01/30/2009 A stunning turn from Montano - right after being the National Hero, he's anything but in Muro-ami. Some great Jose Rizal castmembers return in top form, joined by equally talented thespians. The children are heartbreaking to watch at times, and it's all the more poignant (and slightly disturbing) that some of them actually ARE muro-ami themselves. Nothing is cloying. The action scenes balance the dramatic scenes nicely. My favourite director really gets it made! See more 07/20/2008 Very well acted movie.
