Starts well but peters out with too many characters pulling attention from the main story.

It's a forgettable romantic comedy aside from Jude Law's performance and character. It was worth watching just to see him charm his way into prudish Gretchen Mol's heart. If it would've stayed away from cliches then it might have been a decent movie.
