Movie Info

Acclaimed actor James Brolin (Trapped!, TV's Hotel) takes his debut turn behind the cameras with the 1997 action-heavy political thriller My Brother's War, starring himself; his son, Josh Brolin; Salvator Xuereb; and Cristi Conaway. The elder Brolin plays Adam Hall, a former CIA agent pulled out of a long retirement to track down and exterminate Liam Fallon a renegade member of the Irish Republican Army. Fallon is now waging his own war of terror against the world, and hopes to bring the peace accords to a crashing halt with random, merciless acts of violence. To track Liam down, Hall must recruit the services of Liam's brother, Gerry, an incarcerated terrorist. Because Gerry is the man responsible for once murdering Adam's sister, the mission puts Brolin's nerves on edge and pushes his resistance to the very edge. Alex Simon penned the script; Roger Corman executive produced.more

The performances all around are flat and flavorless, and the screenplay is weak.
