Movie Info

Imagine waiting in the back alley for scraps from the world's biggest buffet and you get the idea of this National Geographic production. Brought to video by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, the filmmakers use aerial photography to show the viewer the griffin vulture's point of view and the immensity of the task that awaits these scavengers of the Serengeti. While the star of this show is "nature's undertaker" and the thankless task they provide by disposing of leftovers, other highlights include the larvae and the dung beetles contribution. Shot with graphic realism this after-dinner documentary is not for the squeamish. ~ C. Dwayne Smith, Rovi
