Spiritual manifestations of grief come out to play in Benoit Jacquot and Julia Roy's slight but slinky adaptation of Don DeLillo's 'The Body Artist.'
The director's attempts to provoke and disturb are straight out of a textbook. The film is not complex.
...a seriously tedious and often interminable drama with few, if any, elements designed to hold one's interest.
Roy's sometimes ethereal presence strikes a forceful but delicate note as a woman who is at once facing a mystery and who is at the same time a mystery herself.
