It also doesn't hurt, of course, that she seems to have a dash of Sabrina the Teenage Witch about her.

More sticky sweet, ie grating, adventures with Pippi. Kids might enjoy it still.

Slightly entertaining, in a really stupid way.

Audience Reviews for The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking

I watched this a long time ago when I was a kid, so I don't really remember it, but I think it was okay, not so good that I remembered everything about it, but not so bad that I wanted to forget it, so, yeah, it's okay.

This film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's tale is pretty good adventure and funny. When I was 13 years old, this time spunky but lovable Pippi is a brat who manages to give me ideas about driving adults over the edge.

It does not have the charm of the original Swedish Pippi films. The songs are annoying.
