Movie Info

Demons at the Door director Roy Knyrim draws inspiration from one of the most high-profile UFO sightings ever recorded for this fact-based sci-fi thriller that recreates the infamous "Phoenix Lights" case. On March 13, 1997, community leaders, law enforcement officials, and countless everyday citizens in the southwestern United States witness a phenomenon that simply couldn't be dismissed by even the most hardened of skeptics. Jason Connery, Ashley Peldon, A.J. Cook, and Gwendoline Yeo star in a film that draws on transcripts taken during hypno-therapy sessions to explore precisely what happened to six strangers stranded on a forgotten road during that fateful close encounter.

Audience Reviews for Night Skies

An alien abduction movie supposedly based on memory regression of one of the characters. Plays much more like a soap opera; in an attempt to "flesh out" the characters, we get sappy cliches and mostly sub-par acting. Knyrim tries to build tension but doesn't succeed. The alien effects are decent, but not quite enough to save the movie.

So-so Alien Invasion movie that bases itself off of the very strange and unexplained light formation that shined over Nevada about 10 years ago. As the lights were shining, an RV full of terrible and annoying actors are driving through the woods and crash into a broken down vehicle, nearly killing the driver (depressed, suicidal Jason Connery who is the ONLY likable character in this film). Anyways, soon, they are all getting picked off one by one by some pissed off little visitors. It's all pretty boring until the last 15 minutes which are pretty enjoyable if you like mass amounts of gore, torture, and transportational abortions! That was fun and just about worth sitting through 80 minutes of boredom.
