Stupid as stupid gets. Boring. Old in that sh*tty kinda way (yes there are good old movies). Watch Dead Calm for good early Nicole Kidman movie!
High schoolers become influenced by a charismatic karate instructor who has a dark side that is slowly revealed to the students. An early Aussie role for Nicole Kidman and maybe only worthwhile for her fans. Packaging offers some warning signs--VHS cover suggests a ninja storyline and DVD release features Kidman prominently which both seem somewhat intended to mislead the viewer.
teenage flick. grainy quality. dated really.
3.5/10. A very stupid low budget movie, only of interest to see Nicole Kidman in an early career role. Forgettable story, the acting is okay, no one is bad, but no one is particularly good either.
