Audience Reviews for Ninja in the Deadly Trap

A Chinese emperor has observed an abundance of Japanese invaders ravaging his villages. The Japanese use the ninja technique to thwart his armed forces and avoid unwanted conflict. The ninja are sneaky and attack unannounced and unnoticed. The emperor seeks out a kung fu master who knows the way of the ninja. The master informed him of three former students who understand techniques that can conquer the ninja clan. The emperor sends his son to find the master and students. "I am only a servant girl. I do know how to look after a man." Philip Kwok, director of There's a Ghost in the Boy's Room, delivers Ninja in the Deadly Trap in his directorial debut. The storyline for this venom's flick was more intricate then most of their pictures. Kwok utilized two of his venom brothers, Centipede and the #6 venom (the young one). The three of them made up the three master's students perfectly. "You can fool the others but you can't fool me." Ninja in the Deadly Trap is underrated and a relatively unknown Venom's gem. Its unknown nature may be due to Kwok's direction, as most Venom pictures are directed by the infamous Cheh Chang. Nevertheless, this is still a worthwhile picture and a gem in the martial arts genre. I strongly recommend this picture to fans of the classic martial arts genre or Venom flicks. "I want a drink." Grade: B
