It has a much lighter, breezier touch than most of its Hollywood counterparts; it's sexy without being crass, easy and relaxed rather than slick.

Audience Reviews for No eres tu, soy yo

A somewhat amusing if not a tad bit dull Mexican comedy No Eres Tu, Soy Yo (It's Not You, It's Me) works because of Eugenio Derbez's charisma and really nothing else. A subpar story about breaking up No Eres Tu, Soy Yo might be worth a chick flick date night but not much more. And only if you speak Spanish or don't mind subtitles.

The beginning of this movie is extremely depressing. It is an awful struggle to keep watching through the complete breakdown of a grown man over a woman that leaves him. The ending is sweet and wonderful if you make it there.

Mexican version of a Hollywood rom-com is more true or real (can't think of another way to say it), but still just goofy rom-com fun.
