A husband and father whose life has become a tiresome routine learns the delicate difference between accident and destiny after getting caught up in nostalgia and watching as everything he has worked so hard to build comes crumbling down all around him. Peter (Seth Macari) has a well-paying job, a beautiful wife, and two adoring children, yet despite all of this he can't help but wonder what may have happened had he wandered a different path in life. Then one day, while surfing the internet, Peter comes across the webpage of Kelly (Kelli Nordhus), the younger sister of his first flame. Kelly has grown up to become quite the stunner, and it isn't long before she and Peter are experiencing all the thrills that new love has to offer. Now freed from the perceived pressures of his marriage and his high stress job, Peter begins to lose himself in meaningful conversations and long walks on the beach with the beautiful Kelly. But there's a serious downside to Peter's exciting new relationship, because before long he's completely lost sight of both his family and the demands of his job. As Peter's manipulative boss bears down on him and the young writers in the office begin to absorb the experiences that will one day comprise their own unique perspectives on the past, the crushing weight of responsibility offers a painful lesson in the true price of nostalgia.
