If the onscreen serial killer isn't having fun, how can we?
February 7, 2014
Director Doug Aarniokoski and co-screenwriter David Loughery fail to infuse the overly familiar elements with the necessary dark humor.

I don't quite have the nerve to give it a full recommendation but I do have a certain affection for it and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from seeing it for themselves if they were inclined to do so.

"Nurse 3D" isn't nearly as fun as a movie about a homicidal, sex-obsessed, clothing-averse health care provider ought to be.

Clearly, the recommended prescription for the delusional Nurse 3-D is a deviant hard pill to swallow and that is not necessarily a bad thing neither.
January 8, 2016
Nurse 3D successfully embraces its exploitatively sexy and sleazy demeanor with a wink and a nod, going for broke with such gonzo-style gusto that you just can't help but admire the end result.
January 5, 2015
Somewhat surprisingly, Nurse is an amusing neo-giallo/slasher.
September 7, 2014
Taken at face value -- which is the only way one can probably take Nurse -- it still comes up short.
April 8, 2014
Unabashedly outrageous and all the better for it, Nurse 3D holds your attention with enough gore, generous nudity and batty characterization to please genre fans.

Huerta towers over the film, an Olivia De Berardinis creation brought to life in a world that might have been conjured by the combined psyches of Brian de Palma and Bob Guccione.

Nurse is one of those modern, pre-fabricated cult movies like The Human Centipede or Sharknado, designed to be talked about amongst friends though never truly satisfying as a genuinely interesting piece of exploitation cinema.

As raw exploitation, Nurse 3D [...] over-promises and under-delivers, which might have been inevitable with a title like that.
February 9, 2014
Nurse 3D shouldn't work as well as it does, but Paz De La Huerta's enchanting insanity makes for some memorably debaucherous midnight movie moments.
February 9, 2014
As good-to-be-bad movies go, Nurse is about as good as it gets. Or bad. Or... wait I don't know. Look, Paz de la Huerta is naked, okay?!
February 8, 2014
An early frontrunner for Craziest Movie of 2014. This is an unapologetic exploitation flick, executed with tongue-in-cheek style. It's got blood, boobs, and butts galore, plus a lot of outrageously gimmicky uses of the third dimension.
February 7, 2014
Nurse doesn't carry all the way to the end. It's salacious, macabre, and visually competent, but as a B-movie fireworks display, it mostly launches duds.
February 7, 2014
No matter what Nurse 3D is or isn't, as an entertainment, it rocks.
February 7, 2014
"Nurse" is more curiosity than home run, but it is a safe bet that no one will ever be able to accuse it of being boring.
February 7, 2014
It's campy, over the top, and incredibly gory, and it's likely the kind of movie to warrant late night screenings...
February 6, 2014
Moves really quick, offers a generous amount of shocks, and displays a slyly dark sense of humor.
