See more Marco L @decatur555 Nov 24, 2025 (CASTELLANO) La sensación que deja 8 apellidos marroquís es la de una película que intenta caer bien a toda costa, incluso aunque eso implique limar cualquier chispa o riesgo. Se nota desde el primer tramo: todo está pensado para hacer gracia sin molestar, para gustar sin tensar nada. Y claro, cuando vas por ese camino, acabas en una comedia muy amable… y muy plana. Hay algún momento suelto que hace sonreír —uno o dos chistes que sorprenden por lo tontos que son—, pero la película vive más del gesto simpático que de la risa real. Lo curioso es que mantiene el nombre de la saga, pero no el espíritu. No tiene nada que ver con la primera, ni en energía ni en mala leche. Aquí todo está mucho más "correcto", como si alguien hubiera pasado la aspiradora por encima de cualquier arista. Lo que la salva un poco es Julián López, que tiene ese talento raro para hacer que una escena mediocre funcione mejor de lo que debería. Él sabe moverse en la idiotez con bastante gracia. El resto es más discutible: personajes que cambian de actitud en segundos, situaciones que se ven venir desde el póster y un tono general de comedia turística que ya hemos visto demasiadas veces. Al final, queda un producto bienintencionado, suave, simpático… pero olvidable. Se puede ver con el cerebro medio apagado y no duele, pero tampoco aporta nada que justifique seguir estirando este título. Y sí, yo también habría preferido algo con más mala leche, o simplemente con más vida. (ENGLISH) A Moroccan Affair leaves you with the feeling of a film that desperately wants to be liked, even if that means sanding down every rough edge it might have had. You can sense it from the first scenes: everything is designed to be funny without offending anyone, pleasant without pushing any boundaries. And when you follow that path, you end up with a very gentle… and very flat comedy. There are a couple of small moments that make you smile —a joke or two that work because of how silly they are—, but the movie relies more on being "nice" than genuinely funny. The odd thing is that it keeps the saga’s name, but not its spirit. It has nothing to do with the first one, neither in energy nor in attitude. Everything here feels much more "safe," as if someone had vacuum-sealed all the roughness. What partly saves it is Julián López, who has that strange talent for making mediocre scenes work better than they should. He knows how to move within pure stupidity with real charm. The rest is more questionable: characters that shift personality in seconds, situations you can predict from the poster, and a general tone of touristic comedy that we’ve seen far too many times. In the end, it’s a well-intentioned, soft, friendly… but forgettable product. You can watch it with your brain half off and it doesn’t hurt, but it doesn’t bring anything new to justify stretching this title any further.
