Movie Info

Spy Kids star Alexa Vega is drawn into the vicious world of petty lies and backstabbing rumors in this tale of betrayal among the high school set based on the New York Times bestseller Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls. Quite a bit has changed in the last decade, and modern technology has opened up an entirely new realm of cruelty for catty high school girls looking to maintain their popular status. From malicious e-mails to slanderous websites, the possibilities for humiliation are virtually endless. When the most popular girl in school suddenly and unexpectedly falls out with the in-crowd, the revelation that her untouchable status was prompted by the betrayal of her former best friend leaves her reeling as she plots her revenge.

I had to watch this for a class. Overall it was pretty enjoyable for a made for TV Lifetime movie. I felt that it was pretty predictable as far as these types of movies run but I think that parents should see it so they can see what their children might be going through.

tv movie? this should've got stuck in the cinema coz it might've been appreciated by a wider audience, but i guess it aint as accessable ratings-wise as a half arsed action movie packed with stars. very good film about the subject of bullying. there's some cliches in there that are untrue to the reality of it but what do ya expect? it's a bloody decent effort though. it was pretty well acted by alexa vega & lisa vidal, especially in those highly emotional parts. even leah pipes and elizabeth rice played their really sadistic roles well. well the character of nikki was sadistic. the character of stacey was insecure and arrogant
