Movie Info

In this slasher movie, a bullied youth exacts revenge upon his tormentor. The tale centers on poor traumatized John, a seven-year-old genius who became mute after his father abandoned his family. Because he is so different, he is the perfect patsy for cruel children who constantly torment him. His only friend is young Gretchen. The story then jumps ahead ten years as John breaks out of the asylum he has been in since he suffered brain trauma at the hands of the bullies. Blood flows and violence ensues as he begins murdering and hacking up his tormentors. As a twisted gesture of friendship, he presents poor Gretchen with grisly souvenirs from each kill.

Audience Reviews for Offerings

A nearly by-the-numbers "Halloween" rip-off. The music is almost identical and some scenes are even re-created but it entertains in it's own right.

Still unsure if this was a terrible spoof of John Carpenter's "Halloween" or just another formulaic rip-off! It's pretty abysmal and entertains for all the wrong reasons. The acting and dialogue a laughably bad - all intended by the makers? It lacks gore or any other sleaze factor too which was a shame as its list of redeeming features is next to none. You'll have a laugh at this though if you can tolerate bad horror movies.

A hilarious no shame rip off of Halloween! Invite some friends, buy some beer, pop this piece of shit in the dvd player and bring it down a couple of pegs!
