Critics Consensus

Polished as a business presentation and just as impersonal, Office Romance is headed by a likable pairing but proves too content to follow the rules of standard rom-coms to nab a promotion into the C-suite.

Audience Says

A lightweight affair with a bit too much raunch, J-Lo & Goldstein can do no wrong -- except getting tangled up in this Office Romance.

Despite their momentary delight, films like Office Romance tell us that Hollywood is stuck creating outdated movies for a version of our romantically yearning culture that doesn’t exist anymore. Go to Full Review

The character work is sharp and the supporting cast a hoot. But the film’s diversions into “raunchy” comedy are awkward. Go to Full Review

It’s saucy, silly, stupid, and fun. Go to Full Review

There’s not a believable moment in Goldstein’s vulgar script. "Office Romance" is an old-fashioned movie that relies on raunchy elements to make it seem contemporary. Bad idea. Go to Full Review

S J. @ShellsBellsJ 1h Shockingly Bad This was really difficult to watch. I think J.Lo is a talented actress, but the romance felt awkward and forced. Instead of feeling authentic, it came across like someone’s idea of what love and romance should look like rather than how they actually feel. See more Tarini T @Tarini 7h This might be the worst film I ever saw. See more Kh T @KartR 9h A lighthearted romantic comedy with a nostalgic 2000s feel with over the top comedy that can get a few giggles out of you, nothing too serious. The cast delivers solid performances, and the humor keeps the movie entertaining throughout. Jennifer Lopez looks great as always and does justice to the character as written. Brett Goldstein also delivers a solid performance. While the ending is not the strongest part of the film, it does not take away from the overall experience. An enjoyable choice for a casual movie night. See more Miguel L. @mluna 10h Amazing love story and good meanings in the story.
