Movie Info

The British rock music genre known as "Oi!" was an offshoot of punk rock music that originated shortly after that style hit its popular peak. Infusing punk with a working-class sensibility and adding elements of early British invasion rockers, the musical style was quickly embraced by rowdy street kids and teen rebels. Seminal bands of Oi! include Sham 69, the Exploited, and Peter & the Test Tube Babies. This video compilation showcases excellent Oi! band performances ranging from the late 1970s to the 1990s. Along with providing infectiously raucous and messy working class anthems, OI! THE DVD also offers the eye candy of colorful and massive mohawks and inimitable fashion.
