Once Upon a Girl Reviews
I got some laughs while watching this, I'll admit that. I didn't get any laughs out of the actual comedic elements in the movie, but rather by the parts that were supposed to be taken seriously, but I couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Anyway, this little ditty gives us a cross dressing comedian playing the "actual Mother Goose" who is testifying in her own trial (for disturbing the peace). Her testimony consists of her telling "the real versions" of several classic fairy tales. We viewers see the tales as animated segments. Apparently the "real versions" are pornographic, because that's what we get. The problem is, the humor is dated and falls flat, and the animation is weak. It is the typical animation that I would have expected to see in the TV cartoons of that era. Not horrible, but not really worthy of a feature film. At best this can be considered a curiosity. Seriously though? It's just not worth wasting time on for most people.
