It was definitely interesting. Makes feel for teachers with unruly students
What a horrible waste of time. A hard to believe plot climaxed with an unbelievable ending. It says a teacher wrote the movie at the end. Must have been the football coach! The repetitive sound track was the best part of the motion picture.
Though itâ(TM)s not Samuel.L Jacksonâ(TM)s greatest cinematic achievement 187 is still a damn solid film
187 might look like an "oscar-worthy" 90s b-type level movie, but the cliche story and its overall execution of this film does not always work right. however, the only things that i appreciated after experiencing this film are the performances by the main cast, its serious approach, and atmosphere. overall, the movie is pretty good, but at the same time, it drags when trying to direct a point that does not seem clear for us to understand.
good classroom drama with an excellent performance by Samuel L Jackson.
a forgotten treasure of the 90's
Cliched and overlong.
Jackson is good the movie is not.
if 20 was the rating scale I'd rate this film a 70! by far great movie full of great performances Samuel L Jackson was absolutely amazing in this film!
This films method for reaching a moral is rather outrageous; but it definitely strikes a chord with its heavy dramatization about a very real issue in the Urban Teaching environment. 3 stars
