Movie Info

A retired dancer (Patrick Swayze) and his two former partners must put aside their differences and resurrect the performance that previously ended their careers in this cinematic labor of love from dancer-turned-director Lisa Neimi and husband Swayze. Following the death of its longtime owner, the renowned New York dance studio of Alex McGrath is about to close its doors for good. Though it's been years since embittered dancer Travis has performed professionally, the prospect of his old haunt falling prey to the wrecking ball is simply too much to take. Reaching out to old dance partners Chrissa (Neimi) and Max (George de la Pena) in a last-ditch effort to save their mentor's studio, the trio decide to stage a performance of the very show that drove them apart nearly a decade ago.

Audience Reviews for One Last Dance

I love that Patrick and Lisa got a chance to make a movie together about dance. It was thrilling to see them performing together!

Ugh...I couldn't even finish this movie...A lot of whiney diva moments, from the men too. Hard to follow and not enough dance scenes to save it.

"One Last Dance," was genius. The choreography and passion behind the dance conveyed the heart of what dancing really is, what ballet is. It is perfectly clear what Lisa Niemi and Patrick Swayze were trying to convey in the movie, it wasn't getting his Dirty Dancing thunder back, it was showing the heart of ballet, of dance, and how people see if for so little of what it truely is and that to see the true thing you have to find the heart in it. It's a movie about love and find one's self. And if any of you who are downing this movie were dancers, then you would understand, and im sure that your not so I wouldn't speak lowly of this movie unless you know the true meaning behind it and you've felt the true passion from within. This movie actually inspired me after 15 years of ballet to keep dancing. Excellent film, only dance film that has truely captured the meaning of dance and showed it with complete utter passion.
