I think that might actually be better than the regular Streetfighter series. Double the action, triple the outlandish comic-book characters, and a ridiculous, fun plot that is a blast. Plus you STILL get Sonny Chiba on top of all that. It doesn't hurt that Etsuko is very cute and likeable.

Good, clean (so so) fun for the ones who appreciate 70's martial arts movie with a big bag of ass kicking, including the classic line up of very different experts in VERY different martial arts skills. I do have a soft spot for a crazy looking kung fu (or not) mercenary. One of the best entries in the "... STREET FIGHTER" universe.

Not nearly as good as the ones starring Chiba. In fact, her character gets killed in "Revenge"... oops, spoilers!

Obvious spin off from the much much better martial arts film 'The Street Fighter' but has nothing to do with the former film, this is a stand alone story. I realise this may be seen as a cult these days but I really didn't think much of it, the whole thing was so damn hokey and daft looking, almost like an Oriental version of the 60's Batman TV show! All the fighting is clearly staged with fists and kicks nowhere near their intended targets haha the acting is worse than usual as is the dialog but the really sore point is the fact Sonny Chiba is hardly in it. Apart from the fight finale Chiba doesn't really figure in the film despite the title, add to that the fact the film has nothing really to do with the original and the whole cheesy look of everyone and everything, the bad guys look like they have just stepped of the stage of a children's pantomime show. The original Street Fighter was hard ass and vicious, this attempts the same but fails, a bit of blood n gore near the end but its little too late.

64% Should have been called SISERHOOD OF THE STREET FIGHTER. Sonny is in there for a couple of minutes but plays a less interesting character then Terry (of THE STREET FIGHTER fame). Also lacking, are the cool deaths/blood that the previous street fighters had. All in all, the only real notable aspects of the film would be the super fly and super gay, costumes of the 70's.

I'm a fan of cheesy kung fu films but this one was just sooo heesy it was good, the bad duing makes this movie worth watching & the fun fight scenes.

Least in the Street Fighter series mainly because Sonny Chiba is barely in this but Sue Shiomi is a kung fu cutie. Disjointed but full of mayhem. Lots of great villains including the return of Masashi Ishibashi (who brutally gets his arm snapped in two by Chiba)

A perfectly entertaining action movie? Yes. A Street Fighter movie? No. Not at all.
