Maybe I Missed It, The Role Of The Key (Female Lead) Character Isn't Well Explained?? Who Is She? How The Heck Did She Or Any Of Them End Up In The Middle Of The Nazi-Zombie Encampment? What Was The Solider & His Posse She Employ's To Help Clear Up The Mess Doing Nearby All Of This In The First Place?? Who Are Those Solider's Reporting To & Why? Is This Set Post WW2? The Weaponary They Have Certainly Looks Y2K-Modern Warfare Technology..So Yeah, A Lot Of Unknowns, Feels Again Like A First-Person Shoot-Em-Up Rather Than Any Serious Contender Of War-Horror-Zombie Mash-Up. The Set-Designs & Make-Up Certainly Had A Lot Of Work, But Overall...The Whole Thing Is Slasher-Film Rubbish.

Outpost: Black Sun, the sequel to the nazi zombie flick Outpost, maintains much of what was good from the first film. It also delivers more back story and plot which helps round out the franchise. But like one might expect, if you didn't like something from the first film, it likely made it's way into this sequel. Outpost 2 is essentially very similar to the first film so if you found it too cheesy, or didn't like the look, or thought the soldiers were ridiculous... expect more of the same here.
That being said, fans of the first film should be very happy with this outing and like myself, look forward to the third part of the franchise.

I'll stick with Dead Snow.

Not bad enough to deter me from seeing Outpost: Rise of the Spetsnaz!

Not particularly memorable. Could have been great except for the Sith Lord machine at the end.

Second effort from the entertaining Outpost gives a more detailed plot than the original, yet retains the same ingredients that made the first one well worth seeing. The cast do a good job in their respective roles, and the script is fairly tightly written with plenty of intricate passages to make things quite interesting for the viewer. As a Sci Fi horror film, OutPost: Black Sun works well enough even if it doesn't do anything to elevate the series to new heights of excitement. The norm here is good, and it is a skillfully crafted sequel to an otherwise quite simple first film. What stands out again is the gore and outright gore splatter fest that ensues. This is a must for gore hounds everywhere, and it's a film is just as entertaining as the first picture. Outpost: Black Sun is far from a great horror film, but for a low budget production, it has more heart than many of big Hollywood rehashes that are simply cash cows to make a quick buck. Films like this deserve attention because the level creativity involved in the making of film is skillfully done so as to attract old and new horror fans. The formula here works, simple idea, thoroughly entertaining, and that's how the genre should really. The emphasis on pure shocks and thrills in this follow-up make this a riveting horror yarn that should delight traditional horror hounds that crave something different and in a way it's nothing new either, but the way the material is tackled well enough to grab your attention, makes you not care about the films

If you liked the first film you will like this film too. This has lots of Nazi zombies and action good film. The ending leaves open the possibility of a 4th film as the 3rd film is a prequel. This is a good Nazi zombie horror series.

Nazi zombies galore. It tries so hard but not really all that scary.

A solid sequel to Outpost, Black Sun follows a military group as they attempt to battle the Nazi zombies raised in the first film and destroy the machine that created them before they can reignite the Nazi program of world conquest. Somewhat stupid but brutal, creepy, and action-packed, Black Sun is a fun sequel to a film that gave a somewhat unique twist to the Nazi-zombie subgenre.

ABYSMAL: AN EPIC FAIL & A COMPLTETE WASTE OF TIME
You will regret any effort expended in watching this film. It is the film equivalent of stepping in freshly deposited canine excrement...
Highly Regrettable, especially more so because the first venture was highly commendable.
You have been warned!

While it's premise is beyond stupid, some of the acting is a bit sub-par, and the cliffhanger ending pissed me off, Outpost:Black Sun is still an entertaining B-movie experience due to some witty dialogue, gruesome action scenes, tense moments, and great make-up. I would actually be interested in seeing a sequel to this.

Steve Barker's effective sequel to his creepy 2008 horror Outpost, that told of a group of mercenaries sent to an old WWII bunker which hosted Nazi experiments to create an army of undead super soldiers. Sequel picks up where the original left off with the newly resurrected Nazi soldiers beginning to spread through Eastern Europe while a special forces team and two civilians try to locate and destroy the machine that empowers the living dead army before a last resort nuclear strike.

I tried watching this and couldn't make it more than halfway through. The story was absurd and I just didn't care enough to finish it.
