Movie Info

Located in Australia and based on a true story, this is the tale of a group of men who decide to drive a huge herd of cattle across the continent rather than having to kill them after their meat-packing plant is destroyed. Facing all the dangers inherent to a cattle drive across 2,000 miles of dangerous territory, the photography is beautiful and the special effects during a stampede scene is incredible. Chips Rafferty (known as the "Australian Gary Cooper") plays the lead.
