Burt is at his most appealing and self-deprecating playing a character much like himself at the time: A single, middle-age lothario longing to have a child. Charming and funny.

Audience Reviews for Paternity

I have a seen a ton of Burt Reynolds movies but everyone I've seen he's always playing a tough guy or something similar so watching him in a romantic comedy was a shocker. Not a bad movie by the way but not really something I'd go out & buy or watch again

Brody Manson

Super Reviewer

Only mildly amusing, mostly it is very predictable and trite. Bland direction and there is not much enthusiasm from the cast, with the exception of Juanita Moore in a supporting role. The stars lack chemistry. It?s just silly.
