Movie Info

In this drama, a guilt-filled woman, who hit a little boy with her car and fled the scene, attempts to ease her conscience by helping mute children. She begins working with one boy, recently rendered mute by a terrible car accident, but just as they begin making real progress, he realizes that she is the one who hit him and decides to exact revenge by calling in the police. Fortunately for her, in the end, she and the boy make peace and the charges are dropped.

Very good, if only a bit overly melodramatic at times. Loretta Young is excellent in the title role. The plot is fairly unique, and the ending is very good. Recommended!
