After all these years - his and ours - Pee-wee Herman is still a Peter Pan who can lead us back to innocence with a corny joke or a childish jape.

Pee-wee doesn't come saddled with backstory, like Batman. He's more like Mickey Mouse, an icon who can become anything he wants.

Aside from being as funny as it is elementary, it will remind you of how this masterpiece character transcends age, and instill hope that he'll have more adventures before he can no longer leave his playhouse.
