Critic Reviews for People V. The State of Illusion
More infomercial than movie, "People V. the State of Illusion" calls itself a documentary but is really a 90-minute PowerPoint presentation by motivational speaker Austin Vickers.
There is an intriguing message behind this film; too bad it is presented so awkwardly.
If you can overlook its shortcomings and focus on the information it provides, you may find it enlightening.
None of the prison scenes ring true (though Tuttle is a somewhat intriguing actor), and they distract from the discussion brought up in the rest of the film.
