Not the Muppets. Just a really bad serial killer/psychological movie

This is actually a really good film. The cast are all brilliant, and you really feel for the main character even though he's a killer. Really good movie, and not one many know about.

The movie just wanders portraying a nice symbolic feel to the wandering lifestyles of John and Michael. The plot is immensingly gripping as it keeps you in suspense as to what will be the next occurrence. A sense of the true psycophatic personnel that was in this family was evident and well displayed with a hard-hitting finale.

It's presented as a horror movie, but it really isn't...it's a weird romance based on hypothetical horror...not bad, but if you want to spice up a Horror evening with the bro's and brodettes, leave this movie aside!

The film follows the path of two psychopathic brothers, leaving a trail of murder and mayhem. But suddenly family matters come up, and the movie takes a whole other, but interesting, turn. Great acting by Jake Muxworthy.

A sort of messy, rough, anti-spectacular and minimalistic variation on the theme of "Natural Born Killers". Boring and pointless.

Alias [Born Killers]. Oh! What the heck?!! Truly disappointed both the director & the screenplay could not well manage even for a 83mins thriller supposed-to-be. This film was packaged as a thriller but looks as if it loses its control & turnin' out to be a romance genre till the end instead. Not even mentioning the typical & superficial settings- both the story & the characters.

An amazing, low-key psycho-killer drama. It boggles my mind that garbage like The Grudge and Primeval (just to pick two awful horror flicks off the top of my head) play in theaters while a truly great film like this goes straight-to-DVD. This is a sad commentary the movie business.

Anyway, I recommended this film (known under the generic title BORN KILLERS on DVD) to anyone bored with the same-old crap Hollywood keeps sh*tting out every friday.

Quirks are left at the roadside; in their place, a slowburn melancholy, as Muxworthy realises just how fucked-up his family has become, and how unlikely it is that he'll ever be able to do anything about it. Freeman was always good with atmosphere, but here he gets the budget to sustain it, and coaxes better performances from a largely unfamiliar cast than he did from the indie-elite in "Desert Blue". Muxworthy and Lauren German are very strong in their scenes together, and her brief appearance will make you fall head over heels for Kelli Garner, if you weren't already besotted.

One of the best and most interesting movies I`ve seen in this year. Great pictures, good music, and stunning performances both from German and Muxworthy. Somehow slow and beautiful, somehow fast and troubled. Great one!

I loved this movie, really well written script, great characters that really draw you in to their lives.

I was somewhat suprised by elements of it. Also Tom Sizemore's performance as the psychopathic father raising a couple of mini monsters to follow in his muderous footsteps was savagely wonderful, even though the role was minimal.

Overall though it was tedious. Elements like the brother/sister romance just didn't work and jarred with the peculiarly light hearted tone that came before, well imo.

It got so that the ending took too long to come to its inevitable disappointment.

I didn't find it worth the time watching it.

Which is a shame, because acting wise there wasn't much wrong with it and I had wanted to like it.
