The movie explores the Parisian Child Protection Unitâ(TM)s personal challenges, departmental confrontations, and a multitude of disturbing cases. In fact, with all the shock value involving kids in the movie, you can be forgiven for losing track of whatâ(TM)s going on in the lives of the actual Protection Unit (probably warranting multiple viewings for those brave enough).
There is some truly gut-wrenching stuff on display here, definitely not for the faint of heart. The ending, dramatic as it may be, leaves a moving metaphor and closes the movie on a great emotional high.
Overall, Polisse is an incredible movie for how well it puts together a truly shocking subject. Itâ(TM)s one I probably donâ(TM)t have the strength to endure again however.
