Audience Reviews for POPaganda - The Art & Crimes of Ron English

A fun look into the man and his work, though I do always run into mixed feelings internally about the 'liberation' of certain art stuff where artists feel it's totally cool to deface public installations that are someone else's property, but I guess I'm too rule-oriented to truly get down with that sort of thing. I guess I'm just saying if someone painted a mural on the side of my house, even if it's well-done, it's still a dick move, so I kind of understand why business owners get pissed about that sort of thing. Recommended.

I wasn't as much a fan of the documentary as I was of the things he does and his amazing art.

Well, I guess some wacko defacing private property with his personal art and beliefs is interesting to some, it sure wasn?t to me. I don?t think his artwork was particularly good, nor interesting. When the central character of a documentary is a turn off, it kind of kills the interest level. Boring and unappealing.
