Much more interesting in concept than it was good in practice, Portals exists in this weird psuedo-anthology format, where it both is and isn't a series of related short films, and is and isn't one story that sometimes switches perspectives. This "in-between" factor works to the detriment of Portals which never really gets a cohesive movie out of its very cool idea.
