I don't know how Robert Ingraham made a film about a Midwestern Evangelical Christian family that is as fun as it is earnest and sweet, but he did. It explores real issues while not preaching or finger-wagging (in either direction). Heads up, it's NOT a "Christian" movie (there are swear words), but it's 100% about a family and faith. If you know anyone who grew up like this, whether they're religious now or not, this film is for them - there's never been a film quite like this. It's honest, relatable, hilarious and filled with heart. The cast is phenomenal and the story is important right now. It was such a delight to watch in a full theater, sharing cackles with strangers and having deep discussions afterword.
